Selat Malaka bagian utara dan Perairan Sabang-Banda Aceh dengan kecepatan angin 2-25 knot yang berhembus dari Barat Daya-Barat Laut dan di Perairan Lhokseumawe dengan kecepatan angin 2-15 knot berhembus dari Selatan – Barat Laut.
Kondisi yang sama juga dapat terjadi di Selat Malaka bagian tengah dengan kecepatan angin 2-20 knot dari Barat-Timur Laut, Perairan barat Aceh dengan kecepatan angin 2-20 knot dari Timur-Barat Daya dan Perairan Meulaboh-Sinabang dengan kecepatan angin 2-10 knot dari Barat Daya-Utara.
Kemudian di Samudera Hindia barat Aceh dengan kecepatan angin 2-15 knot dari Tenggara-Barat, Perairan Nias-Sibolga dengan kecepatan angin 2-12 knot dari Barat – Timur Laut serta Samudera Hindia barat Nias dengan kecepatan angin 2-12 knot dari Barat Daya – Utara.
