Presiden RI Joko Widodo (Jokowi) mengatakan bahwa investasi yang sudah masuk untuk pembangunan Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN) sebesar Rp56,2 triliun, di luar anggaran dari anggaran pendapatan dan belanja negara (APBN).
“Per hari ini perlu juga saya sampaikan bahwa di luar anggaran dari APBN, investasi yang masuk sudah Rp56,2 triliun rupiah,” ujar Jokowi dalam sidang kabinet paripurna perdana di Ibu Kota Nusantara, Kalimantan Timur, Senin.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Jokowi memaparkan bahwa sudah terdapat 55 investor yang melakukan groundbreaking atau peletakan batu pertama, yakni dari sektor pendidikan terdapat 6 investor, dari sektor kesehatan terdapat 3 investor, ritel dan logistik terdapat 10 investor.
Lebih lanjut, dari perhotelan terdapat delapan investor yang sudah melakukan peletakan batu pertama, di sektor energi dan transportasi terdapat 2 investor, kantor dan perbankan terdapat 14 investor, hunian dan area hijau terdapat 9 investor, serta media dan teknologi terdapat 3 investor.
“Ekonomi yang akan dikembangkan di Ibu Kota Nusantara juga ekonomi hijau, ekonomi digital yang akan mengiringi pemerintahan di Ibu Kota Nusantara. Sekali lagi, ekonomi hijau, ekonomi digital, data center, financial center, dan yang lain-lainnya,” ucap Jokowi.
Setelah sidang kabinet, Presiden Jokowi dijadwalkan untuk turut serta meletakkan batu pertama proyek infrastruktur di Kawasan Inti Pemerintahan Pusat, Ibu Kota Nusantara, Kalimantan Timur.
